2019 Car Show Volunteer Position Descriptions Here is the list of positions and their task descriptions that will be needed for this year’s car show on Saturday, July 28th. Most tasks have been divided into 2 hour shifts or less,plus there is need for the Friday before the show to help man our Mission Booth at the Bellevue Arts Fair and general set-up. If you can, fill free to sign up for more then one shift! Whether you volunteer for the morning or afternoon, every volunteer will receive a lunch voucher the day of the show. Sign-up today! Friday Staging

Friday Car Show Set-Up.  Assist in setting up in the Garage staging tables, placing banners, signage and other items for use the next day. Inventory raffle items & equipment needs,verify BBQ grill is ready to go.
1 Shift beginning at 10:30 AM. Positions needed: 8 sign-up

Setup Crew Assignments

Assist Leads with set up of: pop-up tents, tables, chairs, parking lot and lobby signage, garbage cans, etc. Move staged supplies and equipment from the Garage to the following stations: Registation, Broadcast Booth, Kids Corner, Microsoft, Bagle Table, Patio Area, Judges, and Raffle desk.
Verify power cables supply Broadcast Booth, Registration, Volunteer, Microsoft stations, Cafe Cashier, Angels Booth and Garage Seminar stage.
1 Shift beginning at 7:00 AM. Positions needed: 12 sign-up

Raffle BoothAssist with selling raffle tickets and answering questions regarding prizes and process.
3 Shifts: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, & 1:00 PM. Positions needed: 5 sign-up

Parking/Traffic ControlAssist Lead with the control of both spectator and participant vehicles. Get spectators parked in North Lot. Drive Gold Car shuttle. Get participants up the hill for photograpghy and registration. Get participants parked in appropriate space. Communicate via two-way radio.
4 Shifts: 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM & 1:30 PM. Positions needed: 14 sign-up

RegistrationAssist Lead with day-of registration process. Greet participants, hand them their packet. Take registration fee as required.
3 Shifts: 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, & 11:30 AM. Positions needed: 10 sign-up

Angels Mission BoothHelp share the mission, promote the mission, and receive donations. Assist Lead at Auto Angels booth. Answer questions about Auto Angels ministry. Act as tour guide in garage. Hand out materials.
3 Shifts: 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM & 12:30 PM. Positions needed: 7 sign-up

Photography/VideoAssist lead photographer/videographer by staging cars and people as directed.
4 Shifts: 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM. Positions needed: 8 sign-up

Tear Down CrewAssist Leads with tear down of: pop-up tents, tables, chairs, signage, garbage cans, etc. Roll up power cables. Return items to garage. Sweep up (blower) patio & grill areas. Pick up litter if/as required.
1 Shift beginning at 3:30 PM. Positions needed: 8 sign-up

Volunteer DeskAssist in meeting volunteers as they arrive for their shift.  Provide ‘Volunteer” packet and instructions for their duty assignments. Track number of volunteer hours.
4 Shifts: 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM. Positions needed: 6 sign-up

Raffle Ticket Sales/HandoutsCirculate through the show selling raffle tickets and handing out flyers and awards ballots.
3 Shifts: 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM & 1:30 PM. Positions needed: 9 sign-up

Bagel Table/Patio PatrolSet up and monitor Bagel table in the AM. Monitor patio area during lunch time cleaning up and picking up if/as required.
4 Shifts: 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM. Positions needed: 4 sign-up

Judging AwardsAssist or substitute for Sponsors with ballot counting, tallying votes, and organizing awards. Awards to handed out at 3:00 PM. Judges must be a member of Auto Angels.
3 Shifts: 9:30 AM, 11:30 PM & 1:30 PM. Positions needed: 12 sign-up

Make & TakeAssist interested kids and families assemble model car kits throughout the day. Help kids complete their projects when required.
3 Shifts: 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM. Positions needed: 6 sign-up

Garage Tours/SeminarsAssist Lead at Auto Angels booth. Answer questions about Auto Angels ministry. Act as tour guide in garage. Hand out materials.
3 Shifts: 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, & 1:30 PM. Positions needed: 3 sign-up

Welcome & Thank YouWelcome participants as they arrive in morning and thank them as they leave at the conclusion of the show.
2 Shifts: 8:30 AM & 3:30 PM. Positions needed: 3 sign-up

Sound SystemHelp sound guy set-up audio equipment, tables, run power and speaker cables. Help with tear down at conclusion of the show.
2 Shifts: 8:30 AM & 3:30 PM. Positions needed: 2 sign-up
